Medical insurance schemes (on self-paid basis)

•  Medical Insurance Plan for Retirees / Long Serving Leavers (MIPR) within 21 days from the date of retirement/departure from University service 
•  Individual Indemnity Hospital Insurance Plan for Leavers (MediSwitch) within 30 days from the date of retirement/departure from University service

Guiding information and form(s) will be sent to a leaving scheme member before end of employment. Payment will be arranged in 1-2 months after receipt of your completed forms, or last day of employment, whichever is the later.

Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF)

We will inform MPF service provider of your end of employment in the month following your contract end date. Your MPF service provider will then send you the documents for arrangement of your MPF accrued benefits.

If you are retiring or leaving HK permanently, you may withdraw your MPF accrued benefits. Please contact eMPF Platform for detailed procedures.
