- Provided that you have been a member of the Voluntary Top-up Medical Insurance Scheme (“VTP”) for an aggregate of twelve (12) consecutive months, you will have the option of transferring into the Insurer’s individual indemnity hospital insurance plan, known as the “MediSwitch Individual Medical Plan” (“MediSwitch”), upon payment of the relevant premium. Any pre-existing medical condition covered under VTP could be covered under MediSwitch, subject to specific eligibility criteria. The terms of MediSwitch, which are subject to annual review, are set out in its brochure.
