Billing Arrangements for Research Postgraduates
The HKSAR Government has announced the tuition fee levels for UGC-funded research postgraduate programmes for the 2025/26 to 2027/28 academic years:

All eligible students in a particular academic year shall be subject to the tuition fee at the prevailing rate of the academic year concerned, rather than being locked at the rate of the academic year of admission.
Tuition fees for research postgraduate students are collected in advance at 6-month intervals throughout the study period. If the tuition fee covered by a debit note spans both the current and the next academic years, the tuition fee adjustment applicable to the new academic year (commencing on 1 August) will be incorporated on a pro-rata basis:

A student in arrears shall be subject to fines. Unless written approval is given by the University to defer payment, a student in arrears, whether in part or in full, or who has outstanding fees/fines unpaid, shall be withheld from University services such as course registration and add/drop, application for transcript and certifying letter, graduation assessment, until all outstanding fees/fines are settled. |

The Degree Certificate shall be issued to a student after s/he has been conferred a degree at the Congregation. Degree Certificates for graduates with outstanding debts to the University will be withheld until the accounts are settled. |

A student in arrears shall be subject to fines. Unless written approval is given by the University to defer payment, a student in arrears, whether in part or in full, or who has outstanding fees/fines unpaid for more than two weeks shall be considered to have withdrawn from studies. A student in arrears shall not be allowed to use University services such as course registration and adding/dropping of courses, applications for transcripts and certifying letters, graduation assessments. |

The Graduate Certificate shall be issued to a student after s/he has been conferred a degree by the University. Graduate Certificates for graduates with outstanding debts to the University will be withheld until the accounts are settled. |

Online Receipts in CUSIS
The function of printing online receipt is available in CUSIS. For details, please refer to the guideline.
Steps of Printing Receipts in CUSIS
- Please login http://portal.cuhk.edu.hk, click “CUSIS” tile


- Click “Financial Account” tile

- Click “Print Fee Receipts”

- Choose the academic term which you would like to obtain a receipt, and then click “Print”

Request Receipts with Official Stamp
- Email copy
Please email the pdf version of receipt in CUSIS to us at FNOStudentFee@cuhk.edu.hk. We will send the receipt with official stamp to you by return email. - Original copy
- Please print out the receipt in CUSIS following the steps above and bring it to Donations and Projects Management Unit, 2/F, Sui Loong Pao Building, CUHK for official stamp
(The opening hour is Mon – Fri 9:00am – 1:00pm; 2:00pm – 5:30pm; closed on weekends and public holidays); OR - Email the pdf version of receipt in CUSIS to us and advise us your mailing address. The original document will be sent to you by post.
